Tips for Spring Cleaning
Winter has been and gone, and the weather is getting better by the day. There's no better time to clear out your unwanted stuff and freshen up your home. We have a few tips and tricks to help you with your spring cleaning.
Prevention is better than the cure
If you haven't already, why not come up with a storage solution? A well thought out system could prevent you from having to have a clear out in the future.
Clean every nook-and-cranny
From the windows to under the sofa. Dust and clean everywhere you can. Clean your drapes and all your rugs and carpets.
Make room for all your unwanted items
You could end up with alot of stuff to get rid of, so make sure you have something to put it all. You can then decide whether to sell, donate or just throw it all away. You might be able to revitalise an old piece of furniture by reupholstering it with a new style.
Organise closets
You can make your daily routine more efficient if you organize your closet. Putting the clothes you wear in the morning together will make it easier, and make sure you get rid of unwanted items to further improve it.
Clean the kitchen
Soak tough to clean things in warm soapy water, so they will be easier to clean. Your sink has more bacteria than your toilet seat, as crazy as it sounds. Sanitizing the sink is a great idea, and one we recommend. It's best to leave the stove until last, to avoid spreading grease and unwanted mess around the whole kitchen.
We hope these tips help, but it's always better to try and think of ways to prevent these problems piling up. It'll save you tons of time in the long run and it'll stop you from having to stress out in the future!
